Football Friday

Kindergarten is so fun (and random!) and I never know what will happen next!  After everyone arrived and breakfast had been served and cleaned up, Hayden observed 2 others who had also worn football jerseys and asked if I'd take their picture.  He then asked if he could get his football for the picture.  I went to my bag to get the camera and came back to the center of the room where I saw Hayden giving the girls directions to run for a pass!  I had them reenact his directions and took the following picture:
 

Of course, the next play was Hayden "running" for a touchdown and scoring, while Kate, who really isn't into football, had to get on the floor and cuddle with Murphy:

Then, we had the celebratory hug:

I couldn't have come up with a better photo op myself!  We then put away the football and camera, got out our daily journals and pencils, and came to the floor where we had our daily writing lesson and practice.  Impromptu.....a great word to describe most days!!!  Kindergarten is the best!!
